Everything met my expectations.

The hotel lacks disposable slippers for guests, leaving many to walk barefoot, which isn't the most hygienic for common areas. Also, the dining options felt overpriced, especially the breakfast at 2400 ¥, considering nearby alternatives like local boulangeries. The shoe-free policy sounds nice but loses its charm when people roll in with suitcases, reducing the cleanliness of shared spaces.

The standard single room exceeded my expectations. Super comfy with great amenities like an electric kettle. The onsen was a highlight, offering both indoor and outdoor options. Ice cream available post-soak was a delightful touch. The hotel’s location is convenient, just a short walk from both Matsue Castle and the nearest bus station. However, the service left something to be desired. I had an issue when I requested a taxi to the station. The staff initially said they booked one but later informed me that no taxis were available, which was frustrating. It forced me to walk with my luggage to the station instead. Despite that inconvenience, the cleanliness and details in the room made the stay enjoyable overall.

onyado nono matsue natural hot spring was a dream! the combination of modern and traditional touches made my stay special. i loved the beautiful tatami mats and stunning rice paper walls. the rooftop onsen was heavenly, and the friendly staff made everything perfect. breakfast was a feast of delicious courses, and those melon popsicles after the onsen? divine!
